REGINA – An 18-year-old woman is now facing multiple charges, including assaulting a police officer, following a stabbing incident on the Pasqua First Nation.

Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP officers responded around 4:00 a.m. Saturday and found an injured 22-year-old man inside a home.

An 18-year-old woman was found hiding in the attic and was brought into custody.

Arissa Dawn Tawiyaka is facing charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, and three counts of fail to comply with a probation order.
