Get ready for a hair-raising high-quality performance of a number from the upcoming production of Hairspray at Alderney Landing Theatre presented by Cole Harbour District High School. The show runs April 8 – 11, but you’ll want to get tickets the moment you see these talented students in action at 6:45 a.m.

The latest vintage of Nova Scotia’s top selling wine was released on April 2nd. Benjamin Bridge’s Nova 7 put the province’s wine industry on the map and at 7:15 a.m. the winery’s head winemaker introduces us to its latest vintage.

The province’s finance minister suggested, in a speech last week, that changes could be coming to a tax credit for Nova Scotia’s film industry. At 7:45 a.m. we ask Marc Almon, chair of Screen Nova Scotia, how changes could affect the industry.

Get ready for the Battle of the Books! On April 13th local schools will face off in an epic reading smack down. At 8:15 a.m. Suzy MacLean from Woozles Children’s Bookstore stops by to chat about some of the books kids are reading to prep for the event.
