WINNIPEG — Here’s what you need to know about what’s open and closed this Easter weekend.

  • Shopping malls and grocery stores are closed Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5.
  • Liquor marts are closed Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April, 5.
  • The Forks Market is open during regular hours.
  • The Assiniboine Park Zoo is open during regular hours.
  • All pools will be closed Friday, April 3, with the exception of the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, which will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Recycling and garbage will be collected as normally scheduled on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6 for those with Friday and Monday as their collection day.
  • On Friday, April 3, Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. On Monday, April 6, Transit will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
