Charges laid after Sask. boy shot while hunting with friend

MEADOW LAKE, Sask. – Police have laid charges after a boy was shot while hunting north of Meadow Lake, Sask., on Nov. 9th.

RCMP have charged a 15-year-old boy with careless use of a firearm and criminal negligence causing bodily harm, among other charges.

The youth is scheduled to appear in court in Meadow Lake in the New Year.

The other boy, who was airlifted to a Saskatoon hospital after being shot, is still recovering from his injury.
