TORONTO – A 24-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after he was shot multiple times in northwest Toronto.
Police were called at 11 a.m. Tuesday after reports that at least two shots were fired (in the area of Weston Road and Finch Avenue) and the man was found in front of a building.
Paramedics say the victim was conscious and breathing when emergency workers arrived and that he has been taken to hospital.
A suspect wearing dark clothing was seen running from the area towards a city transit bus.
He is described as black, 24-25 years old, wearing a black leather hoodie covering his face, a black jacket and black pants.
