REGINA – A dog rescue organization is upset after money was stolen from its donation banks.
Volunteers with Bright Eyes Dog Rescue said they were emptying the collection banks Thursday, when they found two were completely empty.
Each bank usually collects about $400 every few months. A spokesperson for the organization said the two empty banks were in highly visible locations, Sobeys on Albert Street south and Cabela’s, so volunteers aren’t sure how someone could get away with stealing the money.
Bright Eyes Dog Rescue said it has filed a police report.
