Parade Grand Marshall and Jacques-Cartier MNA Geoff Kelley, Parade Queen, Carly Meredith and Irishman of the Year, Jim Hindley sit down with Jamie Orchard to talk about the 192nd edition of the parade and it’s importance in the community. Karina Licursi’s The Student Diaries
On the third anniversary of the official start of Quebec’s Maple Spring, student filmmaker Karina Licursi is releasing a feature documentary on the 2012 Quebec student strike. Her film The Student Diaries will premiere March 22 on YouTube, and she joins us to share her story about the making of the film. You can watch the film here.
How to build a thriving innovative city
As Montreal looks at ways to revitalize it’s economy, Stephen Huddart of the J. W. McConnell Family Foundation joins us to discuss how universities can help build thriving, innovative cities. He’ll be speaking on that topic Monday, March 23 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in room MB10.121 at the John Molson School of Business.
Israel Cancer Research Fund Gala
We hear from Vince Guzzo as he prepares to be honoured by Montreal’s Israel Cancer Research Fund for his philanthropic efforts to raise millions of dollars in support of cancer research.
