Maritimers take snow grievances to Twitter as latest storm blows through

HALIFAX – As Halifax and the rest of the Maritimes prepare to dig out from the aftermath of another winter storm that brought more than 50 centimetres of snow to some areas on Wednesday, people in the region took to social media to say they’ve had enough.

In fact, in probably would have been enough after Sunday’s storm. Or any of the several others before that in what has been a winter of record-breaking snowfalls for certain parts of Atlantic Canada.

The snow is now piled so high that Halifax has banned on-street parking until further notice while crews attempt to clean up.

The best news of the day? There could be more snow in the forecast for the weekend.
