About 400 gallons of water helped douse the flames.
A cause of the fire has not been found.
About an hour later, about 2 km, another hedge was reported ablaze at the front of a house at 341 Molnar Road.
The fire destroyed about 50 feet of mature hedges and melted some siding on the house.
Again, no cause has been found.
