Budget talks continue for 2nd day at Toronto council

TORONTO – Toronto city council will continue budget talks for the second straight day.

On Tuesday, council approved a 2.75 per cent property tax increase.

Today, councillors will debate the new rates on the city’s residential garbage bins as well as tackling the operating and capital budgets.
