Regina school bus partially falls into hole in road

REGINA – The rear wheels on one side of a school bus got stuck in a hole about one-foot deep on a road in the south end of the city Monday afternoon.

Details are still scare, but a spokesperson with Regina Public Schools confirmed that an unknown number of students were on the bus at the time. No one was injured.

The bus fell into a hole on Plainsview Drive, south of Southland Mall.

The students, from Dr. A. E. Perry Elementary School, were taken home on another bus.

The wheels on the bus were eventually able to round and round again; a tow truck pulled the bus out by about 5:30 p.m.
