EDMONTON – Police are asking residents in the Royal Gardens and Aspen Gardens neighbourhoods to be on the look out for 8-year-old Cheyenne Myers.
Cheyenne left a friend’s house on Tuesday evening, and has not been seen since.
Her family reported her missing at 7 p.m.
Police issued the missing persons report for the girl just after 11 p.m. Tuesday night.

Ten officers have been combing the ravines, convenience stores and local businesses in the area of 118 Street and 40 Avenue.
Police are asking the public to help keep an eye out for the little girl.
“What we ask of the public is if they can check out their immediate area, their property, any area that is known to them,” says Acting Inspector Darrin Balanik.
The police search management team has been brought in and a grid search is being done. Air-1 and canines are also being used in the search.
Cheyenne is developmentally delayed and is described as 4′ 9″ and 72 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing black ski pants and black and purple boots. She also had a turquoise and white hoodie and wearing a brown toque. She also wears glasses.
