TORONTO – Service on the Scarborough Rapid Transit (SRT) line has resumed following a signal issue Wednesday morning but the Bloor-Danforth subway line between Kennedy and Warden Station remains suspended.

The TTC says service on the SRT was suspended around 7 a.m. due to a signal related problems at Kennedy but service resumed at 8:20 a.m.
Meanwhile, there is no subway service between Warden and Kennedy station due to a hydro-related signal problem at Kennedy Station.
Shuttle buses are also running in its place.
Thousands of residents in Toronto remain without power Wednesday as a result of Tuesday’s messy winter storm that brought snow, ice pellets and freezing rain into the area.

Toronto Hydro says 15,000 customers are still without power with full restoration expected by mid to late afternoon.
