CALGARY – Two notorious gang members entered guilty pleas in court on Monday.
Nathan Zuccherato admitted to multiple killings, including the first-degree murder of Aaron Bendle at Bolsa Restaurant on New Year’s Day in 2009.
In addition, Zuccherato admitted to the first-degree murder of Kevin Ses during a shooting at the Food In East restaurant on October 26, 2008, as well as the second-degree murder of nursing student Tina Kong in the same incident.
Lastly, Zuccherato pleaded guilty to the attempted murder of Sarith Khun, who was hit by three bullets and left paralyzed in the shooting.
In exchange for the guilty pleas, a series of other charges against Zuccherato are being stayed, including the murder of two others killed at Bolsa restaurant, Sanjeev Mann and innocent bystander Keni Su’a.
He will also no longer be prosecuted for the drive-by shooting death of 21-year-old Kevin Anaya in a Marlborough home in 2008.
Meanwhile, Van Thoai Luc pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of Ses and Kong in the 2008 Food In East shooting deaths.
