Sick teen missing from North Vancouver hospital

 VANCOUVER – The North Vancouver RCMP is looking for North Shore resident Melina Nordwall, 17, who was last seen at Lions Gate Hospital Saturday around 9 p.m., police said today.

“The family of Melina, along with staff from LGH and the RCMP, are very concerned about her well-being as she is without her medication,” said North Vancouver RCMP Cpl. Richard De Jong in a press release. He did not elaborate on her medical condition.

She is described as caucasian, 5′ 3″, 111 lbs, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a scar on the top of her left hand. Nordwall was last seen wearing a red and black sweater, purple pants and back running shoes.
