SASKATOON – The long wait for the opening of two new Saskatoon schools is almost over. The doors to Willowgrove Public School and the adjoining Holy Family Catholic School will open to students, parents and staff on March 9.
Construction of the $39.8-million education facility, which includes a joint-use child care centre, was originally slated to be complete in April 2014 and ready for the start of the 2014-15 school year.

At the time, construction delays pushed back the opening to the beginning of January 2015. The delay forced school officials to make alternate arrangements, with students bussed to other schools in the area while construction was completed.
