Global Saskatoon announced today that it will be expanding its already comprehensive news coverage with the addition of an early morning news program. Global Saskatoon Morning News will make its official debut on Monday, December 5th, airing from 6-9am CT. This move by one of Saskatchewan’s leading news sources is designed to solidify Global Saskatoon’s position as the news leader in the local market.
Led by longtime Global Saskatoon Anchor Lisa Dutton, the early morning news package will also feature Weather Specialist Warren Dean as the Weather and Traffic Host, Sherri Clark as the Morning LIVE Reporter and Kevin Jesus as the Global Saskatoon Morning News Sports Anchor.
“Lisa, Warren, Sheri and Kevin are extremely talented and have a huge following in the community,” says Troy Reeb, Vice-President, Global News. “With their move to morning news, our viewers can expect to see the same level of expertise, passion and clear presentation that they currently enjoy with Evening News, Prime News and News Final.”
Every morning Global Saskatoon Morning News will cover breaking news stories from around the world and around the block. These ever changing stories will be augmented with special guests, who will provide a more in-depth perspective on the local community.
