WINNIPEG – Passenger Via Rail service is running again between Winnipeg and Toronto.
Service was suspended last weekend after a CN freight train carrying crude oil derailed and caught fire about 80 kilometres south of Timmins, Ontario.

Service between Winnipeg and Vancouver was not affected.
A westbound Via Rail train left Toronto yesterday, and the first eastbound one leaves Winnipeg tonight.
