Fight at Abbotsford home sends 2 to hospital

One man was shot and another stabbed in Abbotsford early Sunday morning.

Just after 2:00 a.m., police responded to reports of a fight at a home in the 2300 block of Holly St.

“We arrived within minutes and located an injured male in front of a residence and another injured male that was about half-a-block away down the street,” says Abbotsford Police Cst. Ian MacDonald.

One victim appears to have been shot while the other was stabbed. Both were transported to hospital with serious injuries and are now in stable condition.  Both men are in their 20s and are  known to police.
