Aerosmith to rock Fort McMurray this summer

EDMONTON — They’re arguably one of the most famous rock bands in American history and they’re coming to Alberta this summer.

Aerosmith will play Shell Place in Fort McMurray on Sunday, July 19 as part of their Blue Army Tour.

The new Shell Place, which is currently under construction, is drawing some big events this summer.

The Edmonton Eskimos will play a pre-season game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders at the new SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place on Saturday, June 13, 2015. What’s being called the Northern Kickoff will be the most northern game played in the history of the CFL.

Tickets for the Aerosmith concert in Fort McMurray go on sale on Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased through onerec.ca or at Guest Services at Suncor Community Leisure Centre.
