Saskatchewan couple asked to be more discreet on Valentine’s Day

NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – A couple in Saskatchewan may have got carrying away on Valentine’s Day this year. RCMP were called to a complaint of people having sexual relations in a laundry room in North Battleford, Sask. Saturday.

The two people were reportedly located in the shared laundry room of an apartment building.

Upon arrival, officers found the couple in the laundry room, however there was not enough evidence to lay charges in relation to committing an indecent act.

RCMP said, “the couple were warned and advised to find a more private setting for graphic displays of physical affection, even on Valentine’s Day.”

According to an independent poll, almost one-third of Saskatchewan residents in romantic relationships were expected to “do the deed” on Saturday.
