Police in Coachella, California are searching for a man they have dubbed the “bra bandit.”
The nearly naked suspect was caught on security cameras wearing only a miniskirt with a bra on his face and chest. All the items were stolen from a truck parked in front of the owner’s home.
Footage shows the man get into the truck early Wednesday morning. A police car drives by, but does not notice the bandit.
In addition to the lingerie and clothes, he also allegedly stole cleaning items and spare change left in the truck.
The truck owner’s daughter expressed fear and disgust after watching the footage.
“We have had incidents where stuff has been stolen, but never like this, where some guy is completely naked, and at a point in the video you actually see him sniffing the bra,” Vidal Coronel told NESQ.
Police are still searching for the thief.
