TORONTO – A Toronto man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of another man in the city’s east end.
Scott Savoy, 48, was found dead at his home in the Danforth Road and Kennedy Road area on Feb. 4 by some friends who had gone to check on him.
The friends told police they became concerned about the man because they had not heard from him for several days.
A post-mortem examination determined that Savoy died of blunt-force trauma.
Police say a suspect was arrested on Monday.
Charged is 41-year-old Jason Andrew Boucher.
