TORONTO – A Toronto auto shop owner has been charged with sexual assault following an incident with a female customer last week.
It is alleged a woman entered Canacko’s Auto Centre at 15 Elrose Avenue on Feb. 6 to retrieve her car when the owner locked the door and sexually assaulted her.
Nelson Cortez-Marin, 52, was arrested the following day and charged with forcible confinement and sexual assault.
He appeared in court on Sunday.
Police believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
