WINNIPEG — Four pets died during a blaze in a home on St. Mary’s Road Friday afternoon.
Fire crews responded to the scene at 12:30 p.m. and fought the fire until late in the afternoon.

The home is on the end of a group of adjoining townhouses and is part of the Water’s Edge Townhomes complex. The home was completely destroyed by the fire.
Neighbouring townhouses suffered smoke and water damage.
A damage estimate has not yet been released.
