HALIFAX – RCMP in Nova Scotia say a bus driver and a student have minor injuries after a school bus went off the road in Eastern Passage at 7:30 Wednesday morning.

Police say 15 children had to exit the bus via the emergency window because the front door was blocked. Fire fighters used a ladder to get them to safety.
The kids waited in police cars as a new bus was sent to bring them to school.
RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
