TORONTO — Actor Zach Galifianakis was almost unrecognizable at Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, where he showed off his slimmer physique.
The 45-year-old, who is part of the cast of Birdman, sported less facial hair than usual and kept his hair tied back.
Galifianakis also dressed up for the occasion in a black tuxedo and bow tie accessorized with silver cuff links and a pocket square.
Last October, Galifianakis told Chicago’s WGN he slimmed down by walking more and cutting out alcohol.

“Booze. I was done with it. I just stopped,” said the star of The Hangover. “Lucky I could just stop.”
Galifianakis added: “Being light is fun.”
