Former Alberta health minister Fred Horne won’t seek re-election

“The opportunity to serve as representative and advocate for the people of my constituency for seven years, as Minister of Health for three years, and in various other roles in government has been a tremendous privilege and one for which I will always be grateful,” Horne said in a statement.
