PotashCorp launches challenge to feed Saskatchewan’s hungry

PotashCorp has launched a $1-miilion matching gift challenge to raise funds for Saskatchewan’s food banks. 

Bill Doyle, president and CEO of PotashCorp says the company will match every dollar donated until the end of the year up to a total of $1-million.

“In this season of giving, we are challenging our neighbours to make an extra effort to help Saskatchewan’s food banks bring comfort to those in need,” said Doyle. 

“PotashCorp’s generous support will help make the season a little brighter for some of Saskatchewan’s most vulnerable citizens,” noted Laurie O’Connor, acting CEO for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre. 

The money will be used to restock shelves at 19 food banks in the province and nine affiliated locations.
