Sixty-seven-year-old Peter Hsu from Taiwan was last seen yesterday afternoon around three.

He was apparently hiking with his brother, who ended up heading home without him. The men only planned to walk for just over half an hour.

A witness saw Hsu around 3:30 p.m. and Coquitlam search and rescue focused on the trail where he was last seen.

Search crews started looking for Hsu at first light this morning, but it appears the man walked out himself.
