Kelowna’s plans to improve cyclist access around town continue to move along with the competition of another section of multi-use path.

A one block pathway along Sutherland Avenue from the Dayton Street overpass to Burtch Road is now complete.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

The $750,000 project includes a 360 metre long, four metre wide paved pathway, concrete curbs, crosswalks and landscaping.

It is the start of a path the City of Kelowna is looking to complete all the way downtown.

The federal government paid for two-thirds of the project.
