SASKATOON – Global News is learning more about the criminal past of the man charged in Saturday’s police chase in Saskatoon. No major injuries were reported but the pursuit spanned a large portion of the city.
Bradley Vestby, 35, had numerous warrants out for his arrest at the time of the chase. These included possession of a controlled substance and use of a stolen credit card.

His record goes back further. In 2006, Vestby broke out of a minimum security institution in Drumheller, Alta., according to a Correctional Service of Canada media release at the time. He was serving a roughly 10-year sentence for multiple offences, including assault, robbery and extortion.
