WATCH: Unity rallies for the victims of France’s terror attacks were held across the world today, including here in B.C. Jennifer Palma reports.
Hundreds are gathered in downtown Vancouver in support of the victims of last week’s shootings in Paris.
Approximately 300 filled Robson Square Sunday, many holding French flags and signs that read “Je suis Charlie.”
The rally featured speeches from local religious leaders and a march along Robson St.
Rallies and vigils are also being held in cities across Canada.

Hundreds of people are taking part in a silent march in Montreal,while Premier Philippe Couillard and other members of the legislature are attending a similar event in Quebec City.
Other rallies are scheduled for Ottawa Toronto and Halifax to honour those who died at the hands of al-Qaida linked gunmen during three days of bloodshed.
In Victoria, a candlelight vigil is taking place at 6 p.m. on the lawn of the B.C. legislature.

The Canadian events come on the same day of a major unity rally in Paris to mourn the victims and to denounce terrorism.
Public Safety Minister Steven Blaney is attending the Paris event on behalf of the federal government.
The leaders of Britain, Germany, Israel and Palestine are also there, prompting the deployment of an additional 2,000 police personnel to enhance security.
