REGINA – A north-Regina apartment building sustained significant exterior damage Wednesday morning following a car fire in the parking lot.

Fire crews were called to the multi-story building on 2nd Ave. N around 10:00 a.m. They arrived to find that a fire that had started in a parked vehicle had spread to the siding of the building.

Flames reached all the way to the roof and scorched a large section of the building’s exterior. Some of the units are expected to have suffered some smoke damage.

There were no reports of any injuries.
