MONCTON – RCMP confirmed late Saturday afternoon that they found the body of a missing Moncton woman.
Police said they found the body of Roxy Demerchant, 48, with the help of police dogs around 5 p.m. on Boxing Day.

Police said her body was discovered along the shore in the Cape Tormentine, NB area. They added that foul play is not suspected in her death.
Demerchant was reported missing to Codiac RCMP on Christmas Eve.
The last time someone was in contact with Demerchant was on Dec. 21 at around 3 a.m.
