Saskatoon Nutana
Green Party- Mark Bigland-Pritchard moved from England to Borden, Saskatchewan in 2005. He has two engineering degrees and a doctorate in architectural physics Bigland-Pritchard is Director of a technical consultancy firm specialising in energy efficiency, renewables, green building and architectural physics. He also works as lead technical researcher/consultant for Green Energy Project Saskatchewan and as technical consultant for Saskatchewan’s Green Directory. He also held lecturing posts in energy at two British universities, and for 3 years coordinated the (British) Christian Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
In Borden, he chaired the village community development committee for two years and was a member of the Lions club; in Nutana he is part of a group planning a neighbourhood-based energy efficiency and solar power project.

New Democratic Party (NDP)- Cathy Sproule was born and raised on a farm in southern Saskatchewan. Sproule works for the federal government as an aboriginal law specialist. Sproule co-founded the Ness Creek Music Festival in 1991, and the Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Festival in 2006. She is an accomplished fiddle player, and the house accompanist for the Saskatoon Fiddle Orchestra. She is bilingual and holds bachelor degrees in Education, Law and Arts from the University of Saskatchewan. Cathy has two sons in high school.
Saskatchewan Liberal Party- Cole Hogan was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He is a Political Studies student at University of Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Party- Zoria Broughton was nominated as the candidate for Saskatoon Nutana on February 28, 2011. Zoria was born in Saskatchewan and raised on a family farm. She obtained a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan and has worked as a school community coordinator and a teacher. Broughton has developed programs for families in need focused on improving nutrition on a limited budget and adult literacy. She has been involved with Saskatchewan Literacy, the Northern Saskatchewan Children’s Festival, the Saskatoon Correctional Centre, and the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
She and her husband, a Chartered Account and Partner of an accounting firm in Saskatoon, have three grown children.
