Temperatures are expected to be well above average for the upcoming week, with the high climbing up to highs of 7°C on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
“Deep low pressure area off the coast of B.C. will move towards us tomorrow creating a very strong southwesterly flow,” explains Mike Sobel, Global Edmonton weather specialist.
“The winds are expected to gust from 20-40 km/h ushering in temperatures that will be 10 – 15 degrees above normal for this time of the year.”
Sobel is calling for the temperature to dip to 4°C by Thursday, and a couple degrees below the freezing mark by the weekend, but still above the normal high for this time of the year in Edmonton which is -5°C.
