KAMLOOPS –A 28 year-old-woman has been charged in connection with the shooting of a RCMP officer in Kamloops.
Court records show Marquee Jasmin Klim has been charged with willfully resisting or obstructing a police officer.
Klim is in custody and has a bail hearing scheduled for December 11 in Kamloops.
On Wednesday morning, Cpl. Jean Rene Michaud was shot and critically injured after the officer pulled over a car as part of an on-going investigation.
A fellow officer returned fire but the car sped off. After a 12 hour manhunt, Kenneth Michael Knutson, 36, was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder.
