Tom Clark has 40 years of political and current affairs coverage under his belt.
His career has seen him interview nearly ever prime minister since Pierre Trudeau, cover every federal election campaign since 1974 and report from five war zones.

Journalism is in Tom’s blood – his great-grandfather, Joseph T. Clark, was editor of Saturday Night and editor-in-chief of the Toronto Star. His grandfather was a reporter with the Star, and his father helped spearhead Canada NewsWire.
Tom started his career at CFCF Montreal. Before coming to Global, he hosted CTV’s daily politics show, Power Play with Tom Clark and was the Washington correspondent for CTV National News.
Tom was born in Toronto, is fluently bilingual and spends what little free time he has up in his floatplane.
As host of The West Block, Tom will discuss, analyze and break-down issues Canadians want to hear and learn about.
