DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Emirates airline says one of its A380 passenger planes has been forced to make an emergency landing in India due to a technical problem.
The Dubai-based carrier said the flight from Bangkok to Dubai was diverted to Hyderabad, India, early Sunday because of “a technical snag in the aircraft.”

Emirates is one of a handful of carriers flying the A380, the world’s largest passenger plane. A Qantas A380 made an emergency landing in Singapore last November when one of its engines blew out shortly after takeoff.
