As protests on Burnaby Mountain continue for a fourth day, an 11-year-old girl was willing to risk arrest to challenge surveying work conducted by Kinder Morgan.
Kate Fink-Jensen, 11, and mother Kim were among a group of protesters who volunteered to cross police lines Sunday morning.

“I don’t like what’s being done here,” Kate told Global BC. “They don’t have the right. This is park land. They shouldn’t even be up here right now.”
Kim and a friend, also 11, crossed police lines Sunday afternoon, but police say neither were arrested nor apprehended. Police say Kim was escorted down the mountain and reunited with a family member.
