Concerns are being raised about bonuses given to top executives at CLBC, at the same time group homes were being closed, and support services were being cut.
We now know that the former CEP of Community Living B.C., Rick Mowles, made 230,000 dollars a year before he was fired.
Doug Woollard has been promoted to interim CEO, but as a VP, he and two other vice presidents at CLBC made 162,000 dollars a year; 10 per cent of that, about 14,000 dollars each, was in bonus incentives.
Stephanie Cadieux, the Minister of Social Development, said she is not comfortable with the bonus structure in place in an organization like CLBC, and said she will be meeting with the organization tomorrow.
