KELOWNA – Knox Mountain will close to vehicle traffic on Friday, November 21. Knox Mountain Drive, which leads up to the top of the mountain, is closing for the winter season.
The City of Kelowna says the closure is necessary as driving conditions become increasingly hazardous due to the snow and ice on a winding road.

The road will be closed at the base parking lot. It will re-open again in the spring.
The park will remain open to foot and bike traffic from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The City of Kelowna asks park users to be cautious in the park as the road and pathways will not be cleared of snow or ice.
