REGINA – The annual Canadian Western Agribition attracts thousands of people to Regina, but this year organizers hope a new event will drum up an even bigger crowd.
Full contact jousting will be added to the final day of Agribition as organizers were looking to add something unique to the line-up.
“We looked at some other ideas and jousting came across our plate,” said Marty Seymour, CEO of Agribition. “It’s innovative. It’s got a good blend of horses and people. Agribition is about horses and people, so it seemed kind natural and add to that a little full contact and uncertainty, and it really segued well into our rodeo.”
