TORONTO – A tongue-in-cheek video by a Toronto ad agency has gone viral for the unique way it pokes fun at the work-life balance of its employees.
The video was done by Union Creative after it was shortlisted for an agency of the year award and portrays the gift the company’s owners gave to employees as a thank you for their hard work.

That gift? Letting employees see their families. For a few minutes, anyway.
“At Union, family and friends come first,” one of the narrators says in the video. “After clients and revenue.”
The video shows the obviously depressed employees being corralled into a school bus and taken to a gymnasium.
As soft music plays, the employees are once again introduced to their families and given a few minutes to enjoy themselves.
Then a horn sounds and they are ushered off to their cubicles.
