VERNON – Vernon RCMP say a 22-year-old woman will face impaired driving charges after allegedly being involved in three crashes.
Police were first called in just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday when a driver near Kal Tire Place in Vernon reported that he was stopped at a light when another vehicle ran a red light at a speed of more than 90 km/hr.
The driver told police that the other vehicle sideswiped the door of his car, causing damages, and kept going down 43rd Avenue.
Police say the same vehicle was in another collision right after the crash near Kal Tire Place.
There were no injuries from any of the crashes but, according to police, a median was damaged and a yield sign sheared-off.
RCMP later found the vehicle on Old Kamloops Road with severe damage.
