Focus Montreal introduces Montrealers to people who are shaping our community, bringing their stories into focus.
It airs on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and at midnight.
Take a look at who we’re meeting this week on Focus Montreal:
60 Million Girls

Get breaking National news
Shocking numbers surfaced this week about how many Canadians can’t make ends meet.
A Food Banks Canada report reveals a disturbing increase in the number of families relying on food banks right across the country.
That same report makes a bold recommendation: to completely dismantle existing welfare systems and replace them with a basic income system.
Global News spoke to Jonathan Brun, the Quebec spokesperson for Basic Income Canada Network , to find out how that might work.
Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day is this Tuesday but many communities aren’t waiting until November 11 for their ceremonies.
Heroes Park in Beaconsfield is holding its first ever Remembrance Day ceremony this Sunday.
The park was officially opened last month as a tribute to all heroes in the community, from war veterans, to police officers, and first responders. Major Richard Gratton, the founder of Heroes Park, explains why it’s so important that we never forget.
