WINNIPEG – A man hit by a car following a road rage incident in the Maples early Sunday has died from his injuries, police say.
The 31-year-old man died after the occupants of a black Infiniti G35 and a silver Dodge Charger became involved in an argument at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the area of Marbury Road and Mapleglen Drive.
The man who died, a passenger in the Infiniti, got out of the car to speak with the occupants of the Charger.
The driver of the Charger allegedly drove at the Infiniti passenger at high speed and hit him. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and died Tuesday morning.
Police have found and seized the Charger but no arrests have been made. Police said they believe three people were in the Charger.
