TORONTO – A young girl narrowly escaped falling debris after a powerful explosion rocked Donetsk, Ukraine Monday sending a massive shockwave through the city.
CCTV footage showed the child walking outside of the main entrance to Donbass Arena when the explosion occurred and the shockwave knocked her to the ground.
Moments later, a large piece of debris fell from the stadium, missing the girl by a few feet.
Stadium officials said no one was injured as a result of the explosion and the extent of the damage wasn’t immediately known.
