Roads re-open at southeast Calgary intersection after derailment

CALGARY – Roads at a busy southeast intersection have re-opened following a train derailment Tuesday morning.

It happened just after 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of 50th Avenue and 52nd Street S.E..

All lanes of 52 Street at 50th Ave S.E. were closed until the train could be moved.

There were no injuries in the derailment.
